Welcome to the Transportation Department for the Montrose Area School District. The mission of this department is to ensure the safe and efficient transport of students between home and school. Any questions or concerns regarding transportation should be directed to the Director of Transportation, JoAnne McCain.  

Weather Emergencies

School closings because of severe weather or other emergencies will be announced on radio/television stations and district electronic communication systems including OneCallNow and the district webpage. If schools must be closed early, buses will follow regular return routes. Please discuss with your child what to do in the event that school is dismissed early and no one is home when he or she arrives.

School Bus Cameras

Please be aware that school buses and vans are equipped with audio and video capabilities to ensure safety and act as a deterrent to misbehavior. Students are expected to act responsibly, respect the school bus driver and follow bus rules for a safe ride to and from school.
